Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

The job requires leading team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers, managing phone inquiries, and processing store transactions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute on programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
