Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may involve shift management in the Manager’s absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading team members, supervising service programs, processing transfers, and ensuring accurate invoicing and returns. Strong communication and RSS certification are required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and implement service programs.
• Answer phones and handle store communications per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and other transfers promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and ensure proper invoicing of merchandise.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure cash and building.
