Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Sandy, OR is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, appearance, and operations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and the role may assume shift management in absence of leadership.

You will lead a team, ensure top-notch customer service, and manage day-to-day store functions including imports, invoicing, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service and program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently; issue refunds with correct payment methods and properly stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out properly.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day end procedures, secure money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, ensure security systems are active, and secure deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
