Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, oversee daily store tasks, and handle merchandise, returns, and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• RSS Certification obtainable or in progress preferred.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is desirable.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair is a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy adherence.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy and orders are processed timely.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store transfers; contact customers on shipment arrival.
• Manage returns and exchanges, issue refunds with proper payment methods, and stage merchandise correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced, communicate Zipline messages, and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor adherence to work schedules and clock-in/out procedures; perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
