Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of supervisors.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading a store team to deliver excellent customer service, managing service programs, handling orders/transfers, and ensuring accurate invoicing and deposits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process BOP/ship-to-store/stock transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed accurately and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store; manage warranties and core charges.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks accordingly.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted schedules and clock in/out properly.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and end-of-day procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
