Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Reno, NV is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, and store operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading staff in delivering excellent customer service, managing showroom service levels, processing orders, returns, and exchanges, and ensuring proper cash handling and opening/closing

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is beneficial.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer the telephone per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end cash procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
