Job summary

Mi Casa Resource Center is seeking a bilingual Resource Navigator to support participants facing barriers to economic success. You will connect clients to services inside the organization and in the community, assess eligibility for scholarships, and provide supportive services based on needs assessments.

The role requires trauma-informed approaches, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with community partners.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in navigation, human services, social work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is required.
• Experience working with diverse client populations.
• Ability to be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to participant inquiries via phone and email.
• Works one-on-one with participants in-person or virtually to identify barriers and navigate to resources.
• Determines eligibility for MCRC scholarship and financial aid programs.
• Develops relationships with community organizations to maintain referral guides.
• Backs up Front Office Assistant during breaks and absences.
• Maintains case notes and files; enters data into Salesforce.
