Job summary

Project Access is seeking a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator (Crystal View, CA) to design and implement resident services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education, Health & Wellness, and Community Building. You will engage residents, run after-school and teen programs, and deliver workshops with or without partners.

The role requires strong outreach, cultural competency, and ability to manage multiple initiatives in an autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in both: after-school programs or educational settings for youth and serving diverse populations, with cultural competency and community awareness.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook). Basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
• Physical activity includes bending, walking, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs aligned with four pillars.
• Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program with homework assistance and enrichment.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops; deliver topics when partners are unavailable.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events fostering safe, meaningful relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access resources and services.
• Support food distribution needs, maintain food bank partnerships, and manage distribution.
• Develop relationships with property management, schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door, digital/virtual, and on-site presence.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns; utilize personal vehicle for supplies (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and events calendar.
• Collect and report program outcomes data emphasizing social impact across pillars.
• Contribute to budgets for resident service programs, including authorizing contractor payments.
