Project Access Inc in Charlotte, NC seeks a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator at Woodland Estates to design and implement programs across four pillars—Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building—and to connect residents with essential services.

The role involves outreach, coordinating after‑school and teen programs, planning workshops, building partnerships, and organizing community events.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in both: after-school programs or educational settings for youth; serving diverse populations.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook). Basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
• Physical activity includes bending, walking, kneeling, reaching; ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs.
• Coordinate and oversee after-school and teen programs with homework assistance and enrichment.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver resident-facing workshops; maintain consistency when partners unavailable.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers for services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events to foster safe relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access resources; connect with nonprofit partners.
• Support food distribution needs and manage food bank partnerships.
• Maintain strong relationships with property management; schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach (door-to-door, digital, in-person).
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns.
• Use vehicle to acquire supplies and attend offsite meetings; mileage reimbursed.
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data with focus on social impact.
• Provide input to budgets for resident programs; approve contractor funds when needed.
