Job summary

IQVIA Inc is seeking a Bilingual Virtual Patient Navigator to support the Patient Support Program for patients with acromegaly. You will educate patients and clinicians, manage case creation in CRM, schedule visits, and ensure proper clinical staffing.

Expect regular patient-focused education and collaboration with health care providers. Responsibilities include documenting case details, handling calls and emails, and providing program coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in good standing.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• 2+ years of recent nursing experience that includes direct patient care, education, and proficiency in peripheral access.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially MS Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proven success with good communication, speaking, and writing when interacting with customers.
• Ability to interact courteously and professionally with patients and clinical staff.
• Must reside in country where the job is posted.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Document review of prescriptions, case notes and appointment results.
• Adverse Event review and reporting as necessary.
• Initiate case creation in CRM.
• Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and network clinicians.
• Ensure appointments are staffed with credentialed clinicians for the location.
• Document case details in CRM.
• Place outbound calls and texts to patients and clinicians.
• Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails.
• Provide program coverage when team members are out of office.
• Escalate issues to leadership and work on program improvements.
• Assist patients in finding resources for their disease state.
• Educate patients on disease state.
• Coordinate between patients and program resources.
• Provide patient-focused education to promote treatment compliance.
• Foster dialogue between patient and health care provider.
• Travel up to 15%.
