Job summary

Cencora Canada is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to support patient and provider coverage and pharma commercialization services in Canada. The role focuses on coordinating prescription coverage, submitting documentation to insurers, and navigating public/private funding mechanisms to maximize patient access.

Ideal candidates bring strong MS Office skills, two years in customer service, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years in customer service in an office setting.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Professional and courteous telephone manner.
• Ability to organize time, prioritize, and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or insurance is an asset.
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Coordinate cases with insurers, physician offices, and healthcare professionals for reimbursement.
• Submit paperwork to insurance companies and funding programs.
• Implement Financial Means Test to maximize coverage.
• Coordinate processes after funding is obtained.
• Gain knowledge of public/private and federal funding mechanisms.
• Report Adverse Events to assigned units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
