Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Field Reimbursement Specialist to serve as a subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues. The role educates providers and their staff, resolves access barriers, and collaborates with payer and pharmacy teams to improve patient outcomes.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorization, appeals processes, and extensive travel within defined territories.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Willing to obtain a PACS certification within the first six months of employment.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider offices on insurance access and reimbursement topics.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access to products.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement services.
• Deliver educational presentations at provider sites.
• Provide information on reimbursement topics based on client approvals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
