Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement concepts and help patients access specialty medications. The role requires traveling within a designated territory and liaising with providers, payers, and pharmacies to resolve coverage issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorization, and appeals, with experience in the revenue cycle and a willingness to obtain PACS certification within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Previous experience working in healthcare directly resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Experience with extensive travel.
• Candidates must be willing to obtain a PACS certification within the first six months of employment.

• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
