Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Refugee Case Manager to deliver culturally sensitive case management for refugee clients from arrival through settlement in the United States. You will work with partner organizations and Bethany staff to ensure services align with contract obligations and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field, experience in refugee services preferred, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or a Social Services field from an accredited college.
• Experience in child welfare or case management is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities in English/Arabic or other refugee languages preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive case management services to refugee clients from arrival to U.S.;
• Maintain up-to-date client files as required by partner organizations and DoS;
• Ensure delivery of services per partner handbook and contracts;
• Complete paperwork within contract guidelines and timelines;
• Attend weekly supervision meetings to review cases and plans;
• Collaborate with Bethany program staff to coordinate services for enrolled clients;
• Stay informed on refugee issues through reading, seminars, and involvement with refugees;
• Refer clients to community resources as needed;
• Provide transportation to clients as needed;
• Adhere to agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements;
• Assist in trainings for volunteers and participate in Bethany events;
