The role supports front office activities, including phone coverage, patient scheduling, and medical records scanning. Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred and will help serve a diverse patient base in the La Jolla area.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years of Medical Office experience required.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must have some experience managing the referral process
• Bilingual in Spanish , highly preferred

• Coordinate patient referrals
• Maintain accurate records of referrals and patient interactions in the database
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies to facilitate care
• Monitor referral status and resolve any issues or delays promptly
• Educate patients on referral processes and available services
• Support front office with patient scheduling
• Assist with answering of phones
• Help with medical records scanning
