Trilogy, Inc. is hiring a Bilingual Recovery Counselor (ACT Aspen) in Chicago, IL. The role involves assessing clients across home, community, and office settings, planning recovery, and providing motivational, trauma-informed services in English and Spanish.

The position requires strong advocacy and coordination with care teams in a community-based setting. The role features a full-time schedule, a pay range of $24.28–$27.92 per hour, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed educational or credential requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field, or equivalent clinical experience.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License with daily access to a vehicle and auto liability insurance.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as directed.
• Experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess client’s personal, medical, emotional, social, and environmental situation through home, community, and office visits in English and Spanish.
• Coordinate the establishment of an individual recovery plan with the client and care providers.
• Complete daily progress notes and documentation per policy and standards.
• Document care in the EMR and manage required forms (IMCANS, LOCUS).
• Provide crisis on-call coverage and referrals to additional services as indicated.
• Educate clients with psychoeducation, medication training, and monitoring in English and Spanish.
• Coordinate with team nurse/pharmacy for medication accuracy and MAR documentation.
• Assist clients in developing independent living skills and entitlements applications (SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid, LINK).
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with housing, budgeting, and social support.

Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field

Bachelor's degree in any field with 2 years supervised clinical experience

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under Nurse Practice Act

CRSS certification through IAODAPCA
