Job summary

Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare seeks a Bilingual Recovery Counselor (ACT Aspen) to assess complex client needs and plan recovery in English and Spanish. The role emphasizes community-based services, coordination with a multi-disciplinary team, and trauma-informed care to support individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling/related field or equivalent clinical experience.
• CRSS/IAODAPCA credentials or related licensure preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; ability to work in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Assess client health and psychosocial needs in home, community and office visits in English and Spanish.
• Develop individual recovery plans with client and support system.
• Document progress notes daily per policy; maintain MAR and medical records.
• Provide psychoeducation, medication monitoring, and crisis on-call coverage.
• Assist with entitlements applications and transport clients to appointments.
• Coordinate with nursing/pharmacy to ensure medication accuracy and intake.
• Advocate for clients and link to community resources as needed.
