Job summary

TRILOGY BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE in Chicago, IL is seeking a Bilingual Recovery Counselor for the Bridge to Wellness program. The role focuses on assessment, planning, and delivering bilingual (English/Spanish) recovery support for clients with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Expect community-based services and on-site responsibilities at our State Street location. The counselor will document care, provide psychoeducation, connect clients to resources, and participate in crisis coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed degree/certifications.
• Two years of supervised clinical MH experience acceptable with a bachelor’s in any field.
• Spanish language proficiency required for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients in English and Spanish across home, community, and office visits.
• Develop individual recovery plans with client and support system.
• Document progress notes and maintain MAR documentation.
• Provide crisis/off-call coverage as needed.
• Assist with entitlements applications and transportation to appointments.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Certificate of Psychiatric Rehabilitation (DHS) or equivalent

CRSS certification (IAODAPCA)

Family Partnership Professional certificate (IAODAPCA)

Occupational Therapy Assistant license

High school diploma/GED with five years supervised clinical experience
