Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Ability to verify IDs and process birth/death records accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review birth and death record requests for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify proper ID prior to issuance under Florida Statutes 382.
• Input customer information, process payments, and issue certificates in the Vital Statistics system.
• Balance drawer and generate daily financial reports.
• Process online requests via Vital Check and e-Vitals systems.
• Communicate with physicians, funeral directors, and families to obtain required information.
• Prepare and attend staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
