Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
• Knowledge of machines and tools
• Proven track record of training employees in productivity and safety
• Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and techniques
• Knowledge of raw materials, knowledge of quality systems and standards, knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production process
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed; collaborate with Maintenance in equipment selection
• Identify internal and external resources needed
• Monitor product standards in partnership with Quality and implement quality-control programs
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed
• Identify training and development needs for team members
