Pure Ground Ingredients, Inc. in New York, Town of Minden, is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct plant production activities, optimize costs and ensure customer requirements are met. The role partners with Maintenance, QA and HR to drive safety, efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production supervision, is bilingual in Spanish, and understands health and safety standards and manufacturing processes. A related bachelor’s degree is desirable.

Formación

• 2+ years’ experience as a Production/Operations Supervisor.
• Bilingual Spanish speaker is required.
• Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the production process and optimize capacity, manpower and equipment.
• Identify internal and external resources needed for production.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed; partner with Maintenance in equipment selection.
• Monitor product standards in partnership with Quality dept and implement quality-control programs.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and coordinate training for team members.
• Coach and mentor employees on an individual and group basis.

Production Supervisor

Position Summary: Is accountable for directing plant production activities to produce quality products, at the lowest cost, consistent with company schedules and policies to fulfill customer requirements.

• Controls and effectively utilizes the production capacity, manpower and equipment and outside resources through planning, organizing and scheduling to minimize losses; works within the framework of the budget to optimize company profitability.
• Oversee the production process
• Identify internal and external resources needed;
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed; Partner with Maintenance in the equipment selection process
• Monitor product standards in partnership with Quality dept requirements; implement quality-control programs;
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed; Identify training and development needs for team members.
