Job summary

Gruma, S.A.B. de C.V. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor at our Fresno, CA facility. You will direct, plan, and monitor the production lines under the Department Manager, supervising up to 35 employees and ensuring compliance with GMPs and safety policies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in production, a supervisory background, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. Bakery/food manufacturing experience is preferred; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of production experience in a manufacturing plant.
• 2 years in a supervisory role or 4 years as a lead in production.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Experience with GMP, LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma and related quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a production team of up to 35 employees.
• Ensure production activities meet product specs and GMP standards.
• Coordinate schedule, vacations, and days off for hourly staff.
• Verify labor hours and payroll accuracy.
• Lead safety and quality training sessions and document records.
• Collaborate between Department Managers and hourly employees.
• Monitor budgets and production parameters; drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and company regulations.
