Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho Inc. seeks a Preschool Teacher to implement classroom curricula and activities that promote language, social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.

The role includes supervising aides, conducting screenings, and supporting IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff. The position requires an associate degree in ECE or related field with ECE credits, plus a year's experience, driver's license, and clearances ( TB, background checks, state day care).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in early childhood education (ECE) or related field with ECE credits.
• One-year teaching or related early education experience.
• Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance.
• Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom instructional curriculum and activities for assigned children.
• Supervise and monitor Preschool Aide(s).
• Conduct developmental screenings and assist with IEP implementation.
• Monitor progress of individual children and perform daily health checks.
• Participate in home visits with parents and conduct parent-staff conferences.
• Prepare, maintain and present records, documents and databases.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring and evaluation of Teacher Aides.
