Qualifications

• Experience: Early childhood education: 2 years (Preferred).
• Education: AAS or AA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Required).
• Skills: CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit within six months; ability to work with children with special needs; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, respected, and excited to learn.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Head Start standards.
• Incorporate play-based learning and activities that stimulate curiosity and foundational skills.
• Support dual-language learners by integrating language-rich experiences in English and Spanish.
• Attend to daily care needs and health protocols with compassion and attentiveness.
• Collaborate with families through regular communication and parent–teacher conferences.
