Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho is seeking an entry-level Preschool Assistant for a Seasonal Full-Time position in Caldwell, ID. You will support teachers, assist with health checks, and help implement early education plans to promote language, social, and cognitive development.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CDA credentials or enrollment, and a valid driver's license. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Preschool CDA credential.
• Enrolled in a CDA program to complete in 2 years.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass physical exam and background checks, including state day care clearance.
• Tuberculosis clearance required.
• Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher with planning and conducting curriculum and activities for children.
• Assist in daily health checks of children.
• Assist with developmental screenings and IE(P)S/IFSP implementations.
• Monitor progress of individual children.
• Supervise classroom in Teacher's absence.
• Maintain records, documents, reports, and reviews.

Education

Highschool Diploma or GED

CDA program enrollment within 2 years
