Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho Inc is seeking substitutes to support early learning programs in Weiser and surrounding areas. You will assist in preparing and maintaining records, helping create safe, engaging learning experiences for infants through preschoolers.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, background checks, TB clearance, pediatric first aid and CPR certification. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance.
• Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.
• Help provide children with experiences and opportunities to develop curiosity, initiative, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in a classroom setting.
• May include taking care of the hygienic needs of infants, toddlers, and potentially preschoolers.
• May perform duties of bus monitor if needed.
