Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho Inc. is seeking an on-site childcare assistant to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a supervised learning environment.

You will help maintain a safe, engaging classroom and assist with basic record-keeping and daily routines. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to pass background checks, TB clearance, and pediatric first aid/CPR certification; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance.
• Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis.
• Must obtain Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.
• Preferred ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist to prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.
• Help provide children with experiences and opportunities to develop curiosity, initiative, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in a classroom environment.
• May include taking care of the hygienic needs of infants, toddlers, and potentially preschoolers.
• Help maintain clear, reasonable, consistent, and age-appropriate rules and expectations for children.
