Job summary

Community Council of Idaho is seeking a Preschool Teacher for a seasonal full-time position in Twin Falls, Idaho. The assignment runs approximately March/April through December, with potential downtime in the off-peak period.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a classroom instructional curriculum and activities that encourage language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and communication growth.
• Supervise and monitor Preschool Aide(s).
• Monitor developmental screening and assist with IEP implementation.
• Prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports, reviews, and databases.
• Participate in home visits with parents and conduct parent-staff conferences.
• Represent the MSHS program to community and educational agencies.
• Develop and maintain dual language in the classroom.
• Prepare children for transition into kindergarten.
• Implement CLASS dimensions in the classroom.
• Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Provide experiences that develop curiosity, initiative, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Set and enforce age-appropriate rules with input from children.
• Multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records.
• Comply with CC Idaho policies, procedures, safety practices, and Head Start Performance Standards.
