Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Previous HR experience supporting employee relations and frontline employees.
• Union experience required.
• Knowledge of Workday, ADP, or similar HRIS preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations, leaves, onboarding and terminations.
• Conduct employee investigations and document findings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Assist with performance management processes and corrective actions.
• Coach leaders on policy interpretation and HR best practices.
• Support workforce planning, headcount management and temporary staffing.
• Support HR audits, reporting, training, and offboarding.
