Job summary

Maersk, a global leader in logistics, seeks an experienced People Partner to act as a trusted HR advisor to frontline operations across multiple sites. You will drive employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning while balancing strategic priorities.

You will partner with leaders to optimize talent development and employee relations, supporting regional teams, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar HR leadership role.
• Fully bilingual (Fluent in English/Spanish).
• Strong employee relations and investigation experience supporting frontline and hourly employee populations.
• Experience supporting multiple sites, leaders, and geographically dispersed operations.
• Proven ability to lead change management initiatives in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive, with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership mentality.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, leaves of absence, attendance concerns, and workplace issues.
• Partner with business leaders to provide coaching and guidance on performance management, talent development, and employee matters.
• Support multiple operational sites across several states, ensuring consistent HR partnership and compliance.
• Lead and support annual People Function processes, workforce planning, and organizational initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement, culture, retention, and development initiatives to improve business performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Act as a strategic partner to regional leadership by providing insights on talent, attrition, compensation, and people trends.
