Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the primary contact for patients at our clinic, welcoming them into the system and ensuring positive experiences. The CSR handles registration, data entry, eligibility reviews, billing, and outreach as part of a collaborative care team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, health care setting experience preferred, strong clerical skills, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: General experience in healthcare settings; medical data entry preferred.
• Strong clerical skills including keyboarding and basic math.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and process patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insured, and eligibility programs; maintain daily balancing.
• Verify patient eligibility for programs and assist with scheduling.
• Answer phones and greet patients; maintain patient records and demographics.
• Support billing, collections, and data summaries for reporting and QA.
