Texas Health Action (THA) is seeking a Bilingual Patient Support Center Representative in the Austin area. This role handles front-line patient calls, schedules appointments, and documents interactions to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1 year in medical setting or call center.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis.
• Proficient with common computer software applications.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from patients, vendors, insurers and other medical facilities.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments per guidelines.
• Register patients in the electronic health record per protocols.
• Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support call center and front desk coverage as needed.
• Travel to clinics to provide reception coverage and assist with check-in/out.
