Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Union, NJ is hiring a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, check in/out, and maintain accurate records in NextGen. This role supports a busy healthcare front desk and coordinate with clinicians.

The position offers a daytime shift with four 10-hour or similar options, no nights or weekends, and benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience in a medical setting.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Able to travel to CVR clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in/out in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ensure CVR policies and procedures are followed by center staff.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient charts and accurate demographics in NextGen.
• Review scheduling and financial responsibilities with patients.
• Send precertification forms to Precertification Department daily.
• Complete daily close tasks including fee tickets, billing, and operative notes.
• Confirm future schedules are preauthorized for treatment.
• Update patient forms in NextGen/EHR and ensure records are current.
• Collect necessary paperwork for appointments (authorizations, referrals).
• Collect copays and patient balances at time of service.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and collect patient emails.
