Job summary

CentroMed in Davidson, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to welcome patients, register them into the system, and guide them through financial reviews and program eligibility. The CSR will process encounters, enter charges, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and support clinic operations with accuracy and a friendly, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• General experience working in a health care setting is preferred.
• Experience with medical data entry is preferred.
• Strong clerical skills including keyboarding and basic math.
• Ability to conduct interviews and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Register and process patients and families entering the clinic system.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insurance, and eligibility programs; reconcile daily charges.
• Determine eligibility for special programs and assist patients with enrollment.
• Assist patients and visitors, answer calls, and direct inquiries.
• Verify current insurance status using TMHP and Availity tools.
• Schedule patient appointments per protocol and maintain encounter entries.
• Maintain accurate demographic and financial information and support QA processes.
