Job summary

The Moses/Weitzman Health System seeks a Patient Service Associate to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, manage the busy phone system, and assist with patient registration while upholding excellent service.

Responsibilities include verifying demographics and insurance, collecting copays, and supporting front-desk operations with confidentiality, accuracy, and teamwork within a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or medical office/medical assistant training required.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills necessary.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy front desk.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and callers.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage the phone system.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR.
• Collect copays and assist with payments and payment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate front desk records.
