Job summary

Moses Lake Community Health Center (MLCHC) is seeking a friendly and energetic Customer Care Representative to be the first point of contact for patients. The CCR will provide the highest level of customer service, and will assist the medical team while maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities include scheduling medical and behavioral health appointments, verifying patient information at check-in, and conducting recall outreach.

Qualifications

• Spanish language reading and speaking required.
• Proficient in general office software and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service, information and support to patients and colleagues on the phone and in person.
• Manages medical and behavioral health appointment scheduling according to established procedures.
• When making appointments and at check in, ensures the accuracy of general patient information in the practice management system.
• Contributes to continuity of patient care by making recall and outreach calls according to targets established with the department manager.
• Supports patients and the medical team by accessing information, relaying requests and troubleshooting problems.
• Adapts to changes in EHR and practice management systems, workflows and processes, and participates in employee training.
