Qualifications

• Previous medical experience in customer service preferred.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy is desired.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments to patients' homes or physician offices.
• Speak with patients or authorized representatives before shipping.
• Confirm ship-to address and delivery method.
• Explain prescription information and dosage.
• Ensure necessary ancillary items are included.
• Counsel patients about therapy adherence.
• Offer to connect with a nurse or pharmacist.
• Collect copays and, if needed, assist with funding.
• Update patient profiles with insurance information.
• Maintain accurate patient history in the profile.
• Forward status reports to physicians as care progresses.
• Report drug adverse events and customer complaints.
• Coordinate with physicians, insurance staff, and healthcare teams.
• Ensure tasks comply with policies and laws.
• Maintain regular attendance.
