Job summary

Vivida Dermatology is seeking a dynamic Front Office Specialist to join our Call Center department. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/check-out, scheduling, and answering calls with a focus on accuracy and courtesy.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of front office experience, familiarity with EMR, medical terminology, insurance knowledge, and bilingual abilities. Travel to other Vivida locations may be required to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• 1–2 years of insurance knowledge required.
• 2 years of front office experience required.
• Excellent computer and phone skills required.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients in person and over the telephone for general dermatology.
• Answer questions, schedule appointments and convey information to clinical team.
• Respond to patient issues and return calls and emails by end of next business day.
• Verify insurance and communicate with referrals team.
• Check-in and check-out of patients.
• Open and close the office.
• Travel to other Vivida Dermatology sites may be required to cover call outs.
• Other duties as assigned.
