Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is seeking a bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our Bellaire clinic. This full-time role handles front desk duties, greets patients, schedules appointments, and supports office staff to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and another language, proficient with Outlook/Word/Excel, experienced with HIPAA, and capable of working across multiple facilities if needed, providing excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
• Strong HIPAA knowledge and insurance verification experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar to keep clinics on track.
• Assist patients with forms and documentation; ensure complete records in EMR.
• Update patient information and demographics in EMR and related records.
• Answer phones, route calls, and handle inquiries professionally.
• Maintain patient accounts and collect/record relevant financial data.
• Notify patients of upcoming appointments and coordinate mail flow.
• Keep the reception area neat and welcoming.
