Job summary

NeighborHealth Corporation is seeking a Customer Access Coordinator to join the Patient Access Team in the Registration department at 20 Maverick Square, Cradock Building.

As a part-time role, you will greet patients, book/cancel/reschedule appointments, answer phones, and document encounters in Epic while ensuring accurate patient information and a welcoming experience. Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service/administrative experience.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; experience with electronic medical records is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Check-out appointments and create follow up visits or recalls.
• Book, cancel and/or reschedule appointments as needed for patients walking in.
• Answer Phones.
• Document clear and concise telephone encounters or RX refill request and route appropriately.
• Navigate and document in the Electronic Medical Record (Epic), to access relevant and appropriate information.
