Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. You will help store management with tasks, greet customers, answer calls, process transactions, and assist with returns and exchanges while maintaining organized shelves.

Prospective candidates should be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, and be willing to learn store programs and policies. Bilingual Spanish is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences and provide outstanding customer service.
• Desired: Bilingual in Spanish and English; familiarity with automotive parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Support installers and professional customers as needed and directed by management.
• Process cash transactions, returns, and exchanges per company policy.
• Answer store phone calls, provide quotes, and promote related items and low-price guarantees.
• Assist with inventory, planograms, freight, and shelf maintenance; operate test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries) where permitted by state laws.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs require.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
