Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, handle cash and returns, and support management with daily tasks.

This role emphasizes professional customer service, multilingual communication (Spanish preferred), and familiarity with automotive parts and related systems. Occasional in-store services and deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desired: Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide all retail and installer customers with high level of service.
• Support store management and assist professional customers as needed.
• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and promote customer service programs.
• Handle cash transactions and replies to phone inquiries per policy.
• Process exchanges and returns and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with inventory, planograms, and stocking.
• Perform in-store services and occasional deliveries as needed.
