Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in New Bedford, MA is seeking an Installer Service Specialist, a seasoned parts expert who supports professional customers at the installer counter and oversees the delivery team to ensure accurate, timely orders.

Qualifications

Strong background in mechanics.
Above average communication skills.
Desired: Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships.
Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, and coordinate delivery.
Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced according to company standards.
Ensure daily inspections and mileage entries for the delivery fleet.
Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service.
Verify products, warranties, and cores are billed before customers leave the store.
Credit returns for cores and warranty items promptly.
Audit returns for warranty abuse and labeling accuracy.
Assist on front and retail counters as needed.
Support backroom duties (auto-load, returns, stock, etc.).
Assist with customer labor claims processing quickly and efficiently.
All other duties as assigned.
