Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a PBE sales associate to build strong relationships with both retail and professional customers. You will provide color matching expertise, advise on paint product selection, and mix/customize OEM colors according to manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities include maintaining the mixing room and inventory, coordinating with management, and supporting regional PBE programs. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with PBE customers (retail & professional).
• Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice.
• Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas, and mix/tint per specs.
• Maintain mixing room, scales, machines, and paint counter for safety and cleanliness.
• Manage PBE inventory including stock checks and cycle counts.
• Coordinate weekly call schedule and monthly summaries with management.
• Work with Installer Service Specialist to route Delivery Specialists for efficiency.
• Promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
