O'Reilly Auto Parts in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a PBE Sales Associate to build relationships with automotive paint customers and deliver expert color matching and product advice. You will maintain the mixing area, manage inventory, and support store goals with strong service and team collaboration.

Responsibilities include assisting with color formulas, training teammates, and promoting our customer programs while ensuring pricing accuracy and safe, friendly service at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling phone and in-store customers concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with PBE customers (retail and professional).
• Provide color matching expertise and paint selection advice.
• Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas and mix/tint per specs.
• Maintain mixing room, scales, machines and paint counter; keep area clean/safe.
• Manage PBE inventory, cycle counts, and collaborate with Store Manager on stock.
• Coordinate with Delivery Specialists to ensure efficient service.
• Promote customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price, etc.).
• Assist with labor claim or warranty information; train teammates.
• Monitor industry news and comply with EPA/OSHA regulations; update tools.
• Ensure correct pricing loaded for market; greet customers and process transactions.
