Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a PBE Specialist in Kernersville, NC to build strong relationships with PBE customers and provide color matching and paint selection expertise. You will enter OEM codes, mix and tint per manufacturer specs, and maintain the mixing room and paint counter while driving excellent service for both retail and professional clients.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with PBE customers, retail and professional.
• Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice.
• Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas and mix/tint as per specs.
• Maintain mixing room, tools, and paint counter; ensure clean, safe environment.
• Manage PBE inventory, cycle counts, stock, and product updates with Store Manager.
• Coordinate with Delivery Specialists to ensure service efficiency.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling strategies.
• Assist with labor claims or PBE warranty information from customers.
• Train other staff in PBE sales and technical questions.
