Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with duties spanning customer greetings, part lookups, cash handling, returns, and in-store services.

Qualifications

Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.

Responsibilities

Greet retail and installer customers promptly in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with merchandise choices.
Support store management and installers in servicing professional customers as needed.
Handle cash, checks, and credit transactions accurately and process returns/exchanges per policy.
Answer store phone calls per policy, look up parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
Perform daily store operations tasks including stocking, planogram updates, and inventory checks as needed.
Operate test equipment after training, and provide in-store services such as wipers, batteries, and light diagnostics where allowed by law.
Collaborate with others to resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain security of the cash drawer and assist with daily financial duties.
