TemPositions Group of Companies is seeking an Outreach Coordinator for a 3-4 month assignment with a nonprofit client focused on aging populations and people with disabilities.

The role emphasizes community outreach, building relationships with churches, hospitals, senior housing, and other partners, recruiting volunteers, and promoting SHOPP services, while supporting case management tasks. Bilingual Spanish is required, and occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in social service settings preferred, esp. with older adults or community-based services.
• Public speaking and communications experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Organize weekly outreach initiatives to generate referrals and educate communities.
• Recruit volunteers and partner with community organizations to host SHOPP services.
• Promote SHOPP services through relationships with local agencies, churches, and institutions.
• Attend events, fairs, and after-hours activities as needed.
• Support intake triage and collaborate with Case Managers.
