Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Previous mortgage loan processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage lending and the mortgage loan process.
• Familiarity with underwriting documentation and loan requirements.

• Comfortable using loan origination systems and standard office software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or mortgage industry training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process residential mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation.
• Collect and review income, asset, employment, credit, property, and other required borrower documentation.
• Prepare complete and accurate loan files for underwriting.
• Track underwriting conditions and obtain outstanding documentation.
• Communicate with borrowers in both Spanish and English throughout the loan process.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, real estate professionals, title/closing partners, and internal team members.
• Provide timely loan status updates to borrowers and transaction partners.
• Maintain accurate information and documentation within the loan origination system.
• Assist in moving files efficiently from application through approval and closing.
• Manage multiple active loan files while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
