Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Senior Bilingual Loan Processor to support the East Coast region with customer service and documentation collection for underwriting.

The role requires fluency in Spanish and English, a minimum of five years of residential mortgage processing, and familiarity with RESPA, Reg Z, and Reg B. Proficiency in Encompass and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual requirement: fluency in Spanish and English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Working knowledge of RESPA and general mortgage lending regulations (Reg Z/B) preferred.
• Excellent math and analytical skills; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, income, employment, and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
• Complete the loan checklist and ensure file completeness.
• Confirm application is complete and identify underwriting issues.
• Prepare a loan approval summary and required forms (1008/1003).
• Communicate with loan originator, customer, and underwriter for required docs.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage-related regulations and disclosures.
• Coordinate with vendors for property survey, flood certificate, title commitment, and payoff info.
• Manage pipeline and submit reports within set turn-around times.
• Assist loan setup and close, and support servicing to resolve items.
